Stretching from Jammu & Kashmir in North India to Arunachal Pradesh in North East India, the magnificent Himalayan Mountain Range separates the Indian Subcontinent with rest of Asia. Sub Ranges and Hills The Greater Himalayas is further divided into two major sub ranges, known as Sub-Himalayan Range and Lower Himalayan range or Mahabharat Range. These two mountain ranges hold many highest peaks, glaciers, hill stations, river valleys, flora and fauna, that attract tourists from all over India and around the world. Shivalik Hills is the youngest mountain range of the Himalayas and is known for its Shivalik Fossil Park, Doon valley and world famous Corbett National Park.

Highest Mountain Peaks The Great Himalayas Mountain range is home to world’s highest Mountain peaks, including Mount Everest. The major Himalaya mountain peaks are situated in the Karakoram ranges, Garhwal Himalaya and Kangchenjunga. The highest Himalaya Mountain Peaks in India are Kanchenjunga, Nanda Devi and Kamet.
