Located at a distance of 130 kms from New Delhi on the Delhi - Agra highway - Mathura, on the bank of river Yamuna, is the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Land is replete with imposing temples, each dedicated to the stages of the lord's life. Conveniently located just off the Delhi-Jaipur highway, Neemrana is Rajasthan's closest fort-palace to India's Capital, now converted into a hotel. The stepped palace cuts into the hillside to sprawl over 3 acres and rises to nine levels.

Best Time to Visit The best time to visit Delhi is the winter months, between October and March when the weather is simply superb with a chill in their air. During the day time, the temperature is ideal for sightseeing and the nights are perfect for savouring the lip-smacking delicacies of Indian and World fares, along with tasty street food. Between April and June, the city is hot dry because of the scorching summer heat. The temperature rises up to 40-45 degree Celsius. Rains bring respite from heat in July and September but the humidity levels remain high.

Republic Day Parade of Delhi, celebrated on 26th January, is the biggest crowd puller and a major festival of Delhi. People from all over the country come to watch this grand event whose main attraction is the grand parade.

By Rail - The city has 6 main railway stations- New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station, Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station, Delhi Cantonment, Anand Vihar Railway Terminal and Sarai Rohilla. Out of these, New Delhi Railway Station (trains from all over India) and Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station (north bound trains) are the two most important railway stations in Delhi.

By Road - Delhi is well connected by road to all the important cities such as Agra, Jaipur, Alwar, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Shimla, Manali, Mussorie, Gwalior, Ahmedabad, Kota, Jodhpur, Mathura, Jhansi, Dharamsala, Dehradun and even Kathmandu along with a number of others. There are regular AC buses to Rajasthan from Bikaner House bus station, near Pandara Road. Majnu ka Tila bus stand has regular buses to Dharamsala. DTC buses, auto rickshaws and Delhi Metro connect the whole city. Private taxi and a car is always an option.
